Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What's with the eagle?

A: We rescued this eagle out of a golf driving range net. It spent a night as our guest in one of our transport cages. The next day a friendly and highly competent person from the Taiwan animal protection office picked it up.

Q: Can I bring my own dog food for my dog?

A: Yes, you can. We will feed your dog the food you bring up to two times a day. We have freezer space available and we don't charge extra for this service.

Q: Why dogs have to be neutered/spayed in order to stay in your place?

A: Non-neutered dogs (especially male dogs) follow their instincts. Our environment naturally has traces of scents of many different dogs. This can overwhelm non-neutered dogs and make them feel tense. This tension will transfer to our other guests and make them feel uncomfortable. Therefore, non-neutered dogs require special care and attention, in many cases even separate accommodation. In addition, non-neutered dogs tend to mark (i.e. pee) constantly, which leads to a kind of chain reaction of many dogs marking and re-marking all over the place. We can accommodate non-neutered dogs on a case-by-case basis, but it requires proper planning and additional effort. If you want your non-neutered dog to board with us, please talk to us well in advance.
